The Bladder
What is the bladder?
The bladder is a hollow pelvic organ walls of which are constituted of a smooth muscle outside (lae détrusor adapted to filling), and of an epithelium pseudo-stratified on its internal face, the urothélium (fibrous cloth). The trigone corresponds at the root of the bladder, urétro-vésicale junction, it is the internal or smooth sphincter. This wall is distensible to allow the stocking of urine between micturitions, its habitual maximum filling is of a physiological capacity from 400 to 500 ml at the adult.

At the man, the bladder is in touch with down the prostate, in front of the pubic symphyse, behind the rectum. Ureters enter the bladder on the bias, as high as its dorso-lateral face: At the man, the bladder is in touch with down the prostate, in front of the pubic symphyse, behind the rectum. Ureters enter the bladder on the bias, as high as its dorso-lateral face: At the man, the bladder simple percentage in touch with down the prostate, in forehead of the pubic symphyse, behind the rectum. Ureters to graft the bladder one the bias, high whizz whizz its dorso-lateral face.

The ouraque is a waterproof virtual fibrous channel which links up the antéro-upper pole of the bladder with the bellybutton: it is a residue embryologique of the vitellin channel, that remains normally permeable in urine.

How works the bladder ?
Micturition is controlled by nervous parasympathiques and nice existent grains of the nervous blessed roots S2 to S4. The inhibition of this reflex is a study in the mankind, which manifests itself by cleanness and continence.

It is under central control, at the level of nerve centres of the bridge (in the cerebral trunk). The study of urinary functions is the urodynamique.

The physiology of micturition takes place chronologically by:
  • the attack of the physiological capacity (300mL).
  • receivers in the stretching exercise of the vésicale wall transmit nervous impulses in the upper cerebral centres who informs us about the desire to urinate.
  • the shrinkage of the détrusor and slackening of the smooth sphincter.
  • there is micturition by slackening volunteer of the external sphincter, under the control of will, through somatic driving nerves.
